About
Nanhe Kumar Gupta was born in a village named Narsar (Shivwala- Karhiya Mela) in Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India, on the 25th of August 1990. He acquired his primary education from Primary School of Uttar Pradesh Basic Siksha Prishad. He passed his high school in 2005 and intermediate in 2007 from Kisan Inter colloge Sakhopar and Buddha inter college Kushinagar, respectively. He joined Buddha Post Graduation College, a state college under Deen Dayal Upadhayay Gorakhpur University, in July 2007 to pursue B.Sc. in Physics and completed the course by June 2010. He was awarded “Gold Medal” for an securing highest marks in B.Sc.. For his M.Sc., he joined Deen Dayal Upadhayay Gorakhpur University in July 2010 and completed the degree in May 2012. Just after completing M.Sc., he cleaed prestigious competitive exams such as CSIR-Net, GATE, and JEST. In July 2015, he joind M.Tech in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and completed the degree in May 2017. For his doctoral research work, he joined the Thin Film Laboratory (TFL) under the supervision of Prof. Sujeet Chaudhary in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in January 2018. His research interests are in the area of the growth and study of magnetic properties in ferromagnet-nonmagnet heterostructures for spintronic applications. Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Magnetic Functional Device Group at NIMS, Japan. His current research area explores new quantum magnetic materials for magnetic field sensors and high transverse thermopower generation.
