Khusro Khan

About

Khusro Khan is a research scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. His principal research interests are in AC machines, creative problem solving and product development processes. He has been working as a Production manager for the electrical machines production plant of ABB. Additionally, he has been a Test floor manager for the plant, involving in type test activities. His research projects include, among others, the design and development of high efficiency Induction motor for Solar PV fed water pumping, measurement of different losses in induction motor including the stray load loss, the development of high-speed electric motors and active magnetic bearings, and the use of finite element analysis tools for solving electrical machine problems.
