Dr. Mediouni is a young motivated researcher and holder of a doctorate degree in Applied genetics, (Born in 08 08 1992) Rida, holds a License in DGP (Dynamics and Genetics of Populations) additionally to a Master degree in (Genetic Management and Improvement of Biological resources) from the University of Tlemcen, Started his international career in 2017 exactly in the ICARDA (Rabat-Morocco) where he received an extensive training supervised by Dr. Sripada Udupa an Indian researcher in crop science, his training report is published in the CGIAR.org database, in 2018 Rida has been selected to proceed for a PhD in Applied Genetics in order to analyze the Diversity of Maple species (Acer L.) in Algeria.

in 2021 Won the Intra-Africa scholarship and sent to the University of Cape Coast - Ghana for a year, by 2022 defended his PhD and Being directly retuned by the University of Nâama as “Maitre Assistant Classe B” equivalent to Assistant Teacher. In September 2024 Nominated “Maître de Conférence Classe B” equivalent to the Senior lecturer.
