Prof. (Dr.) Alok Pratap Singh is a distinguished academician, pharmaceutical scientist, and academic administrator with over 16 years of experience in pharmaceutical education, research, and institutional leadership. He is currently serving as Principal & Professor at Parmarth College of Pharmacy,ATMS Group of Institutions,Hapur,India, where he is actively involved in academic planning, quality assurance, research promotion, and faculty development.
Dr. Singh earned his B.Pharm., M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutics), and Ph.D. in Pharmacy with academic distinction and qualified GATE with a 98.2 percentile. His research focuses on nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems, including solid lipid nanoparticles, nanostructured lipid carriers, and targeted drug delivery for improved therapeutic outcomes.
He has published 45 research papers, including 27 in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, with more than 1,250 Google Scholar citations, an H-index of 12, and an i10-index of 13. He is also the author of several books and international book chapters published by leading publishers such as Elsevier, Academic Press, and Cambridge Scholars Publishing, and holds four granted patents, including international patents in pharmaceutical innovations.
An accomplished mentor, Dr. Singh has supervised Ph.D., M.Pharm., and over 100 undergraduate research projects while serving in key academic leadership roles, including IQAC, PCI, and research coordination. He is a sought-after keynote speaker, session chair, and reviewer, recognized for his contributions to pharmaceutical sciences, research excellence, and higher education.
