About
As an Associate Professor of Chemistry, Prof. Dr. Savita Verma has sixteen years of work experience in various organizations. She completed a Ph.D. in chemistry from the CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India, and also completed her post-doctoral research at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India. She also
worked as a researcher at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad, India. She completed her MSc in Chemistry and M.Tech in Surface Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur, India. She has published several research papers in peer reviewed (SCIE) international journals. She is currently working as an Associate Professor, Chemistry, School of Engineering, Presidency University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Her areas of interest include Engineering Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Nano Technology, Organic Chemistry, High Performance Polymer Development, Shape Memory Polymers-synthesis, characterization, & chemical
modifications, and Machine Learning.
