Saikat Ranjan Das is currently pursuing a PhD in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at Palli Siksha Bhavana (Institute of Agriculture), Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal, India.
He is also working as a SRF (Senior Research Fellow) under the foreign scheme or project titled "United Kingdom Research and Innovation Global Challenge Research Fund (GCRF) for South Asian Nitrogen Hub (GCRF-SANH project)" at the Crop Production Department, ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack-753006, India.
He earned his B.Sc. (Ag.) from Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal, India, and his M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, West Bengal, India.

Research interests: Climate change, organic agriculture, improved nutrient management, especially nitrogen management, AMANDA, EDDY covariance system.
