About

As a recent Ph.D. graduate and an engineer at heart, I have always been driven to use my skills to make a positive impact on people's lives. However, it was a personal experience that truly inspired me to take action. My wife is visually impaired, and I have witnessed firsthand the challenges she faces on a daily basis. Seeing her struggle to perform simple tasks that many of us take for granted made me realize that I wanted to do something to help the billions of people who go through the same thing every single day.

This led me to found Kshoonya, a startup focused on developing innovative AI and assistive tech wearables to address the challenges faced by the visually impaired population. Through Kshoonya, I am leading community outreach programs, establishing a strong brand identity and online presence, and implementing a data-driven approach to product development and decision-making.

In addition to my work with Kshoonya, I recently graduated with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of South Florida, where my research focused on information dissemination, utilizing cooperation and causal inference to efficiently build a network for efficient analysis and provide better decision results in diverse data sources. With a deep sense of empathy and a drive to make a difference, I bring a unique perspective to my research projects.

Recently, my proposal on 'Pollution Prediction in a City Due to Events' was selected at USF. I am currently mentoring three young minds in developing a Tableau/Power BI dashboard that displays pollution levels and forecasts pollution due to specific events. My daily experience with visual impairment has instilled in me a profound sense of purpose. I take pride in utilizing my skills and expertise to develop technology with the potential to enhance the lives of millions of people.
