My research interests are to bridge Microbial Ecology and Industrial Microbiology for the benefit of society and the environment. I am interested in the bioprospection of microbes (their genes and genomes) from extreme niches, and exploring them for the production of industrially important biomolecules through genome engineering and bioprocess development.
