About
My research focuses on Plant Pathology and Plant Biotechnology, with specialization in plant–virus interactions and molecular approaches for crop improvement. I work on developing virus-resistant crops using CRISPR/Cas-based genome editing, transgenic technologies, and RNA interference strategies. I have expertise in plant tissue culture, transformation systems, and functional genomics. My research aims to enhance plant defense mechanisms and promote sustainable agriculture. I am also actively engaged in teaching and mentoring in Plant Pathology, Molecular Biology, and Plant Biotechnology, with a strong interest in interdisciplinary and translational research.
