Prof. Rakesh S. Moirangthem is currently heading the Nanophotonics group at the Department of Physics, Manipur University, India. He was previously Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad. He did PhD from Academia Sinica, Taiwan, under TIGP Nano Science & Technology Program; a Post-Doctoral research from the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials (formerly MPIE), Germany. His research areas focus on Plasmonic Biosensors, SPR Sensor, SERS, Whispering Gallery Mode Sensors, Multifunctional materials for SERS detection and Photocatalysis, Nanofabrication.
