Dr. Sayantan Guha has more than 9 years of research experience. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Department of Mathematics and Computing at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad, India, and currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Data Science, ITER, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, Odisha, India. His research areas include Mathematical Modelling, Solid Mechanics, Wave Propagation, Smart Materials & Composites, Thermoelasticity, and NEMS/MEMS. He served as a reviewer in several international SCI/SCIE journals/conferences. He has published 31 international journal articles, 4 international book chapters, 13 design patents, and 1 book as an editor with De Gruyter. His work has garnered nearly 700 citations, reflecting a significant academic impact. He is an active reviewer for several SCI/SCIE journals and conferences, holds life memberships in various professional bodies, and serves on the Editorial Boards of several international journals, underscoring his commitment to advancing the mathematical sciences and engineering. He has also delivered invited talks, chaired sessions, and participated in numerous conferences. He has received several prestigious awards and honors, including the INSPIRE Scholarship from DST, the “Young Scientist Award” from IIT Kharagpur at the 65th ISTAM (2020), “Best Paper Award” at some international conferences, etc. Currently, he is supervising two PhD students.
