Dr. Chandrashekhar T Sreeramareddy received his MBBS (1999), from Bangalore Medical College and MD (2003) degree in community medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal India. Later, he received Erasmus Mundus scholarship from European Commission to pursue Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Public health in Charite University, Berlin and Masters in International Health from TropEd Network for international health. He is also a recipient of DGDC scholarship from Belgium for a Short Course Clinical Epidemiology And Evidence-Based Medicine (SCREM), Erasmus Mundus visiting scholarship (2010) and several travel grants and/or scholarships to present his research papers at scientific meetings. His current research interests are Epidemiology and Control strategies of Tuberculosis, Epidemiology of tobacco use and tobacco control, Maternal and child health in developing countries.He has keen interest in epidemiology, quantitative research methods and applied biostatistics. His teaching areas and expertise include maternal and child health in developing countries, infectious diseases, research methods, epidemiology and biostatistics.
