About
Arghadip Das is an in vitro scientist whose work spans two connected areas of preclinical science: drug disposition (ADME) and regulatory genetic toxicology. He currently works in in vitro ADME at Vimta Labs, characterising permeability and drug transport, metabolic stability, and intrinsic clearance. Earlier, at the Centre for Toxicology and Developmental Research (CEFTE), he served as an OECD GLP study director for in vitro genetic toxicology, running genome-damage assays, Ames, chromosomal aberration, and micronucleus, to regulatory standards.
His five first-author publications sit in natural-product pharmacology and toxicology, tracing bioactive plant isolates from phytochemical profiling through mechanism, with approaches that include network pharmacology, in silico ADMET, and genotoxicity and endocrine-toxicology endpoints.
His interests centre on bringing drug-disposition reasoning together with genome-damage and safety phenotyping, so that preclinical results become more predictive and defensible.
