About
I have been serving as a Senior Professor of Physical Chemistry since 2024 in the Department of Chemistry at Shivaji University. My research focuses on nanomaterials, particularly TiO₂, ZnO, CeO₂, ZrO₂, CdS, and CdSe, with applications in photocatalysis, gas sensors, and related fields.
More than 200 international research papers have been published to my credit. Under my guidance, 20 students have been awarded Ph.D. degrees, while 5 students are currently pursuing their doctoral research. My research contributions have received over 8,000 citations, with an h-index of 55.
I serve as an Editorial Board Member for various scientific journals and act as a reviewer for journals published by the Royal Society of Chemistry, Elsevier, American Chemical Society, Institute of Physics, and Scientific Reports.
I have also served as a Ph.D. referee for several universities and research institutions across India, including University of Calicut, University of Calcutta, University of Madras, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
Placed the ranking of top 2% Scientist ( Stanford University Survey) since 2022 to date
