About
My academic interests are modelling, simulation and performance evaluation of communication networks and other connected systems, graph data mining and applications, anomaly detection, intelligent sensors and signal processing, data science, computer algorithms, software architectures and systems, formal methods and multi-sensor data fusion. I have guided more than 65 Masters Theses in these and related areas, published a little and filed 10 patents.
I am passionate about pedagogy, especially Engineering education and teaching. I have had the wonderful opportunity to design Masters and Bachelors courses in Computer Science and Engineering and Embedded Systems fields at M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (and earlier at M S Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies). They are truly outcome based course designs. I inaugurated the Computer Science and Engineering Department at MSRSAS and MSRUAS.
I am also interested in Mathematics, Philosophy and Social Studies. I used to play, but now only watch, sports.
