About
My career aspiration is to become a Research Scientist in healthcare. My research interests include understanding human health and disease and to participate in the development of solutions to medical and public health problems. I also aspire to collaborate with clinicians, clinical researchers, and basic investigators in other disciplines which can be a source of intellectual inspiration and stimulation.
My motivation for pursuing research related to public health stems from learning about the challenges of healthcare and translational research during my Ph.D. program at Manipal School of Life Sciences, MAHE, Manipal. The process of translating scientific discoveries into practical (clinical) applications has the potential to influence lifespan and health span and this is what really sparked my interest in healthcare and translational research.
I am a self-motivated individual with ability to take challenges, troubleshoot problems, complete work within deadlines and form collaborations to ignite shared passion, provide exposure to new areas of science, and generate new ideas.
