Rupendra Vinayak Bhagde obtained his PhD (2000) degree from Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad in Zoology on the "Some Aspects of the ecophysiology of Bivalve Molluscs from Maharashtra State" under the supervisor of Prof. Dr U. H. Mane., Since 2011 he is working as an Assistant Professor at Department of Zoology in S.N. Arts, D.J.M. Commerce and B.N.S. Science College, Sangamner, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, Maharashtra. His area of research interest is Aquatic Biology, Hydrochemistry, Biodiversity. He has published more than 12 research papers. He is a member of more than 12 scientific societies and associations.
