About
I am Dr. Sunil, a dedicated environmental chemist and researcher focused on tackling the challenges posed by emerging contaminants. My research centers on developing advanced analytical protocols and procedures for the extraction and mass spectrometry interrogation of inorganic and organic contaminants found in water, sediments, and various environmental matrices. This work is critical for thorough risk assessment and for proposing effective management and policy solutions.
Beyond contemporary environmental issues, I also integrate biomarker (paleoproteomics) and isotopic studies to reconstruct past ecological baselines and unravel long-term biogeochemical responses to climate change.
I am a guest editor & certified peer reviewer and actively engage in editorial work, which has strengthened my expertise in manuscript evaluation, publication ethics, and scholarly communication. I am passionate about advancing environmental chemistry and fostering high-quality scientific discourse.
