About

🔬 I am a pharmaceutical chemist with over 20 years of academic and research experience in medicinal chemistry, natural product chemistry, and heterocyclic drug synthesis. My research focuses on designing anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer, and antimalarial agents using approaches such as computer-aided drug design (CADD), polymer–drug conjugates, and green chemistry for sustainable synthesis and targeted delivery.
I earned my BPharm (1999-2003) and MPharm (2003-2005) from UIPS, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and completed my PhD (2013) from IKGPTU, Jalandhar. I qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE, IIT Madras, 2003) with All India Rank 498 in Pharmaceutical Sciences — a milestone that laid the foundation for my research career. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supervising numerous MPharm and PhD students and contributing to pharmaceutical science projects across academia and industry.
