About

Shantanu Bandopadhyay accomplished his Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. He began his sojourn of pharmacy profession by accomplishing D.Pharm at Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India and subsequently did his graduation (B.Pharm) at H.N.B. Garhwal University, Uttarakhand, India. After qualifying GATE conducted by IIT, New Delhi, India in 2004 he obtained his M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) at Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Viswavidyalaya, Bhopal MP, India with JRF scholarship from AICTE, New Delhi, India.
He is currently member of the editorial board of Journal of Applied Pharmaceutical Science (Medipoeia Pulications, India). He is also member of the reviewer’s panel of dozen journals including a few of the prestigious journals like, Pharmaceutical Research, European Journal of Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacological Reports, AAPS PharmSciTech, AAPS Journal, The Saudi Pharmaceutical Journal, Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology and a few other journals.
His research areas encompass formulation design & development (novel oral lipidic nanosystems, nanocolloidal delivery systems, polymeric nanoparticles, nanosuspensions, topical drug delivery systems) using Quality by Design (QbD) as per ICH guidelines Q8(R2), Q9 & Q10.
He is life member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA), Society of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER) and Registered Pharmacist in Delhi Pharmacy Council.
