Dr. Mohammed Abdul Raheem Junaidi has been an Associate Professor and Placement Coordinator, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) past 13 years. He is a recipient of Young Engineer of the Year award from Institution of Engineers, India and Government of Telangana awarded by Dr. G A Srinivasa Murthy, Director, DRDL, Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad, Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, President, Aeronautical Society of India & Scientific Advisor to Ministry of Defence and Er. Brahma Reddy, Chairman, IEI. He also achieved Gold Medal from for his Ph.D. work. His previous work experience includes being a Technical Writer in the position of Team lead at the SIA Group of companies, Hyderabad, and a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai. He has completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from MJCET, obtained his M.E. in Turbomachinery from UCE, OU, and his Doctorate degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, PILANI. He obtained gold medal in Tenth SSC board exam, and Intermediate from respective institutes. He bagged many prizes at graduation level in academics and extra-curricular activities. He has been granted 2 patents for his Ph.D. research work and published 6 SCI/SCOPUS free journals from his Ph.D. research. He received the best paper award for his Ph.D. research article at an International Conference. He was awarded as a “Primary Evaluator” for exceptional contribution in Toycathon, 2021 organized by the Ministry of Education, Innovation cell, Government of India. His areas of interest are Computational Fluid Flows, Thermal Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Hydraulic machinery and equipment, Heat Flows, Power Plant Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Space exploration research, Python Programming and Renewable Energy Systems.
Dr. Junaidi has more than 35 International publications in Journals and presented 8 papers at International Conferences. He received grants for Eight Indian patents and published for other three patents in the Engineering field. He received best subject faculty appreciation letter from the institute in 2017.
Dr. Junaidi is a member of the Institute of Engineers India M-1705045, Society of Automotive Engineers, India, Alumni of University College of Engineering Association, and, a National Skills Registry member. He is a certified prominent member of the TPO Club, Skill Academy, Testbook. He is an Editorial member of various International Journals and a reviewer for many international journals like Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medical Research, International Journal of Environment and Climate Change, Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series C, Elsevier, Springer etc. He was appointed as a National Advisory Committee Board Member of a 4th International Conference on Chip, Circuitry, Coding, Combustion and Composites conducted by IFERP Bengaluru Chapter held in Nov 2017. He has also published an international textbook on Python Programming: A Handbook and User Guide, ISBN: 978-93-94002-83-8. He has an H-Index of 7 in Google Scholar with 129 citations since 2013. He has more than 54,000 reads by researchers globally with an RI score of 261.3 on the ResearchGate website. He received external consultancy funding project of Rs. 1.51 Lakhs from Skill Lync, Epowerx learning technologies Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, India.
He has handled a few administrative responsibilities in the college. He has performed duties on the following roles assigned to him as:
• Placement and Training Coordinator in the Mechanical & Production Engineering Department from 2013 to till date.
• Incharge of Time tables for Mechanical & Production Engineering Department from 2013 to till date.
• Incharge of Sessional Marks and Attendance for Mechanical & Production Engineering Department from 2013 to 2019.
• Co-ordinator for SAE BAJA & SUPRA EVENTS from 2017 to till date.
• Member of Internal Examinations committee from July 2013 to Nov 2021.
• Member of class work monitoring committee from 2013 to 2018.
• Faculty incharge for student event in ADSOPHOS from 2015 to 2017.
• Incharge of OU Practical Examinations for Mechanical & Production Engineering department from 2013 to till date.
• Assistance in AICTE, NAAC and NBA as a team in completion of tasks from time to time.
• Nominated as an external examiner for BE theory Examinations from 2018 to 2021.
