About
Mariana D. Guilardi is a PhD student in Bioinformatics. She has a Master's degree in Biotechnology and Bachelor's degree in Biology. She studies diversity, evolution and vertical transmission of RNA virus in Brazilian Chiroptera, involving metatranscriptomics and Bioinformatics (e.g. Machine Learning). She is interested in studies involving diversity and evolution of zoonotic pathogens and small mammals using genetic and spatial data.
