About

Dr. Abhay Maurya is currently working as a Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Library and Information Science at Apex University, Jaipur. Previously, he worked as Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara; Assistant Professor & Head of the Department at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, Raipur; and Guest Faculty in the Department of Library and Information Science at Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Bihar. He was a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and completed his Ph.D. in Scientometrics from Mizoram University. He obtained MLIS from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi; BLIS from U.P.R.T.O. University, Allahabad; MA (Sociology) & BA from V.B.S.P. University, Jaunpur; O Level and CCC from N.I.E.L.I.T., New Delhi; and PGDCA from Subharti University. He qualified UGC NET-JRF in 2019 and NET in 2017 in Library and Information Science. He has authored 4 books, edited 1 book, published more than 12 research articles in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, and presented papers at international conferences. His areas of specialization are Bibliometrics, Scientometrics, Mapping of Research, Ranking of Higher Education, Artificial Intelligence, and Text Mining.
