About
Ravi Kumar Gangwar received the B. Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from U.P. Technical University, and Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IIT-BHU), Varanasi, India in 2006 and 2011 respectively.
He is currently Associate Professor in Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, India. He has authored or co-authored over 180 research papers in international journals/conference proceedings. His research interest includes Dielectric Resonator Antenna, Microstrip Antenna and Bio-Electromagnetics. He is guided/guiding 15 Ph.D. and 15 M.Tech. students. He has completed/ongoing 06 R&D project related Dielectric Resonator Antenna and their applications from various funding agencies like DRDO, SERB-DST, ISRO etc.
He is a Senior Member of the Antenna and Propagation Society and Communication Society, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA, Member of IET UK, Institution of Engineers India and fellow of Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, India. He is a reviewer of IEEE Antenna and Propagation Letters, IET Microwave and Antenna Propagation, IET Electronics Letters, Progress in Electromagnetic Research, International Journal of RF, Microwave and computer aided engineering, International Journal of Electronics, International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technology, Wireless Personnel Communication, etc.
