Dr. Kumar earned Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Science/Biotechnology (2017-2023) on understanding the host plant microbiome interactions through meta-omics and systems biology at the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology, University School of Sciences, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The doctoral research was carried out at Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
