I am a determined and passionate clinical researcher/optometrist cum educator with a strong desire to explore clinical and research aspects of Optometry. I always aim to understand the prevalence and treatment of every eye disease and try to make teaching and learning experience more enjoyable for the students through creative and gamified learning approaches such as three-dimensional (3D) Augmented Reality, Four-dimensional (4D) Extended Reality etc.
Skilled in Objective & Subjective Refraction (Retinoscopy & Autorefractometer), Dispensing Optics, History Taking & Preliminary Examination, Vision Care, Experimental Research, Anterior Segment and Posterior Segment Optical Coherence Tomography Imaging and interpretation (Heidelberg OCT), Fundus Angiography (Fluorescein and ICG), B-Scan, UBM, Biometry [IOL Calculation (Toric, Multifocal, Trifocal etc.)], Corneal Imaging (Specular Microscope, Corneal Topography and Anterion), Orthoptics and Binocular vision Clinics, Low vision Clinic, and Optometric education. Special interest in patient care, teaching, and Artificial Intelligence.
Published 35 journal articles in several Peer-reviewed journals (IJO, TNOA, DJO, JCOR, JCDR, KJO etc.), 1 video in IJO and 3 book chapters in an open-access journal (INTECH OPEN). Open to collaborate in teaching optometry and research.
