Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Indian Institute of Technology Patna, Jadavpur University, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur
About
Dr. Niwesh Ojha is working as a DST Inspire faculty in the chemical engineering department of IIT Roorkee. Previously, He was postdoctoral fellow in the NanoBioMedical Centre of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland, Before that, he worked as postdoctoral research at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Niwesh obtained a doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology Patna. The topic of his doctoral thesis was "Photocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction and dinitrogen fixation by water over new photocatalysts." In order to gain insight into the chemical mechanism that turns carbon dioxide and nitrogen into valuable compounds when exposed to light. He conducted and analysed a variety of in situ investigations. Before that, in 2017, he got his master's degree in chemical engineering from Jadavpur University in Kolkata. His first research was selected as a Hot Article by the Royal Society of Chemistry for publication in Catalysts Science and Technology. In addition to this, he has published articles in Applied catalysis B: Environmental, Journal of Colloids and Interface Science, Applied Surface science, and many others. Additionally, he has presented at major conferences hosted by Stanford University's SLAC, Solar Fuel Technologies, and several others.
