Dr. Sandeep Lakhera's research interest includes the design and development of advanced energy materials. His group aims to develop highly efficient and stable visible-light-responsive semiconducting nanomaterials for solar energy conversion (hydrogen production via water-splitting, conversion of nitrogen to ammonia) and wastewater water treatment (pharmaceutical pollutants).
