About
Dr. Brijesh Yadav did his Ph.D. from Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, Bareilly; MVSc from GBPUAT, Pantnagar and B.V.Sc and A.H. from SVVU, Tirupati. Dr. Yadav is working as Associate Professor and In-charge of Bio-Climatology Laboratory, Department of Veterinary Physiology, College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Veterinary University (DUVASU), Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Dr Yadav has fourteen years of experience in teaching, research and extension. Dr. Yadav has significantly contributed in the field of Climate Change and Stress Physiology in Livestock Animals. He has established state of art Bio-Climatology Laboratory, having climate simulation chambers, calorimetric unit, molecular biology and analytical labs. He did his PhD in the area of Climate Change and Livestock Production. He has guided four post graduate students in the area of Heat Stress in Livestock. He has established threshold temperature humidity Indices (THI) in cattle, buffalo and goats. Recently he has formulated the thermo-neutral zone for zebu cattle. He has also identified best THI model for cattle and goat. Recently, he has published one paper on effect of heat stress on rumen microbiome and fermentation pattern in buffalo. He has been PI/CoPI in thirteen extramural/ intramural research projects. He has published more that 60 research articles in the journals of national and international repute and has more than 2000 citations. He has participated in more than thirty national and international conferences; delivered more that 10 lectures in faculty development programs; delivered lectures in more than 30 extension training programs and has organized six conferences/workshops as Organizing Secretary/Co-ordinator. He is life time member of eight professional bodies and is the member of executive body of the two professional societies. He is CPCSEA nominee in IAECs of four different institutions. He has received junior research fellowship, senior research fellowship, young scientist awards, best paper and poster awards, best paper with highest impact factor award and several appreciation awards. He has been the reviewer for the seventeen different national and international journals. He has been the part of the Covid testing laboratory during the covid-19 pandemic. He has been involved in several administrative responsibilities of the university.
