I am Ripa Sutar a graduate student in Chemical Engineering at Lamar University, Texas, specializing in process modeling and simulation for the natural gas midstream value chain. Her current research focuses on developing digital twins and conducting energy efficiency simulations to support sustainable design strategies. She holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, India, with prior research experience in polymeric hydrogels and photocatalytic wastewater treatment. Ripa has interned at SR Chemical Industries Ltd. and Emami Agrotech Ltd., contributing to R&D, quality control, and production optimization. She is skilled in Aspen Plus, MATLAB, HYSYS, and LCA tools, and is an active member of AIChE and the American Chemical Society.
