Jitendra Virmani received B.Tech (Hons.) in Instrumentation Engineering from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Punjab in 1999 and M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Measurement and Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2006 and PhD in Analysis and Classification of B-Mode Liver Ultrasound Images from Biomedical Instrumentation Laboratory, Electrical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2014. He has served as a part of academic fraternity of Institute of Engineering and Technology- Bhaddal (Ropar) , Rayat and Bahra College of Engineering and Biotechnology for Women, Kharar (Mohali) , Jaypee University of Information Technology- Solan, (Himachal Pardesh) , Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) - Patiala before Joining CSIR-CSIO , Chandigarh in Aug 2016 to till date. In all he has fourteen years of experience in Academia till date. He is Life member of Institute of Engineers (IEI), India. His research interests include application of machine learning and soft computing techniques for analysis of medical images.
