About
Mohd. Sadiq has been working as Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering at Computer Engineering Section, University Polytechnic (formerly Department of Technology), Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi-110025, India, since 2005. In March 2014, he took over the charge as Section In-Charge/Head of Section of Computer Engineering.
Dr. Sadiq received his Ph. D. degree in 2017 with Prof. S. K. Jain in the area of Software Engineering from Department of Computer Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, India. Currently, he is on study leave for Postdoctoral Research at Department of Computer Science and Automation, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. Prior to joining IISc, Bangalore, he has worked as Postdoc Fellow at Center for Soft Computing Research, Indian Statistical Institute-Kolkata (ISI), India; and as Visiting Scientist in the area of Brain Computing at Systems Science and Informatics Unit, ISI, Bangalore Centre, India.
Dr. Sadiq completed his M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India, in 2005. He received his B.E. (Honors) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology (NAAC Accredited “A” Grade Institution), Dhauj, Faridabad, Haryana, affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Haryana, in 2001, with first position in Second Year.
Dr. Sadiq is guiding four Ph. D. Thesis as Co-Supervisor in the area of Requirements Engineering and Security Engineering. His area of interest includes Software Requirements Elicitation, Modeling and Design, Software Project Management, Fuzzy Based Multi-criteria Decision Making Algorithms, and Computational Neuroscience, etc. He has supervised more than five M.Tech. dissertations as main supervisor in the area of Software Engineering. Dr. Sadiq has published more than 60 research papers in International Conferences and Journals like IETE Journal of Research, Taylor and Francis (An SCIE Journal); CSI Transactions on ICT, Springer; International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management, Springer (An ESCI Journal), etc. He has reviewed several papers of International Journals like IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Information and Software Technology, Elsevier; International Journal of System Assurance Engineering and Management, Springer; Journal of Computer and Electrical Engineering, Elsevier, etc. Dr. Sadiq has served as member of Technical Programme Committee and reviewer of the following reputed international conferences like IEEE IndiaCom-2018, IEEE-ICACCI-2016/2018, IEEE- INDICON-2015, ICCIDM-Springer-2014/2015, IEEE- ICACCI-2013, IEEE-ICARTCC -2009, etc.
