About

I received my Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), India. During my Ph.D., I worked on the microsystem design and development for the minimally invasive wearable insulin delivery system. For my Ph.D. work, I received the best Ph.D. thesis award from the prestigious ISSS society, India. In 2015 December, I joined Cornell University, USA as a Postdoctoral Associate to work on miniature ion accelerators using the MEMS approach. Where I contributed to the design and development of a microfabricated electrostatic quadrupole array and onboard high-Quality factor microstrip resonators and LC resonators to focus and accelerate multiple charged particles in a small footprint. During the same time, I explored the pyroelectric research line and demonstrated the pyroelectric charge generation as an ambient ionization source for ion mobility mass spectrometer. In July 2018, I joined INL, Portugal as a Staff Researcher. Currently, my research focuses on, multigas detection, additive manufacturing, ferroelectret sensors, energy harvesters, micro- and nanofabrication, MEMS devices modeling, and wearable devices for healthcare applications. My research work has appeared in >40 international journals and conference proceedings. Also, I am an inventor of three patent applications.
