Dr. Abhishek Kanoungo is presently working as an Associate Professor in Department of Civil Engineering and Director (Infrastructure) in Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh. He has obtained his Master’s Degree in Highway Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh in 2014 and his doctoral degree from Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh in 2019. He has 11 years of teaching and research experience in the field of highway materials and construction. Dr. Kanoungo has received funding grant of Rs. 10 Lacs from Department of Science and Technology, Himachal Pradesh for research project in his repertoire. He has filed 12 patents with five granted on his name; authored more than 30 research papers in International and National journals/Conferences of repute. He has guided 4 postgraduate research scholars and is currently supervising two doctoral research scholars. He has also been awarded as Young Achiever Award 2021 by “Institute of Researchers” in recognition of outstanding professional & research achievements in the field of Civil Engineering at National level. He is an active member of various societies like Indian Road Congress, Institution of Engineers, Indian Concrete Institute.
