About
I received my Bachelors Degree (Electrical Engg.) with distinction in 2000 and Masters Degree (Power Apparatus and Electric Drives) in 2002. I did my PhD in 2012 from the IIT, Kanpur, India under the supervision of Prof. S. N. Singh. From 2002-07, I was with NTPC Ltd., the largest power producing company in India, as a Project Engineer and Senior Engineer (Elect. Maintenance). There, I handled variety of assignments, such as, erection, testing and commissioning of 400/132KV switchyard equipments, generator protection system, VFD, ESP systems, etc. and maintenance of DAVR, generator protection and generator transformer. In 2007, I joined PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Jabalpur, India, as a Research Engineer.
