About
Yeast strains expressing Hepatitis B surface antigen developed in our laboratory are being used for commercial production of Recombinant Hepatitis B vaccines which are currently being marketed as BEVAC (monovalent), ELOVAC-B (monovalent) and ComBE FIVE and VAXTAR-5 (pentavalent).
Current research is focussed on the study of metabolism, gene regulation and signalling pathways of the methylotrophic yeast, Pichia pastoris.
