Dr. Priteshkumar Prajapati holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering and a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Information Technology, awarded with a Gold Medal, from Charotar University of Science and Technology (CHARUSAT), Changa, Gujarat, India. With over 12 years of academic experience, he currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the K. D. Patel Department of Information Technology at Chandubhai S. Patel Institute of Technology (CSPIT), CHARUSAT. He previously served as a Senior Information Security Engineer (Manager) at Jio Platforms Limited, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His research interests include information security and data deduplication, and he has successfully co-guided four M.Tech. dissertations.

Dr. Prajapati has established a strong and consistent research profile, with 30 publications indexed in Scopus and 25 in Web of Science, including 7 papers in the Web of Science Core Collection. (Q1:2, IF:13.473; Q2:1, IF:1.9; Q3:3; Q4:1). He has actively contributed to the academic community by serving as 5 session chair for conferences and as a technical reviewer for more than 50 Scopus- and Web of Science–indexed journals, conference proceedings, and edited books. He has received education grants exceeding USD 1,04,000 from Google Cloud, Qwiklabs, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to explore, promote, and disseminate knowledge in cloud computing and cloud security. He also serves as an EC-Council Academia Partner and CompTIA Academic Partner representative, where he actively mentors and prepares students for industry-recognized professional certifications.

In addition to his academic and research contributions, Dr. Prajapati holds several industry-recognized certifications, including Certified Cloud Security Engineer (CCSE), Certified Network Defender (CND), EC-Council Certified Incident Handler (ECIH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), and Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). He is an official Certified EC-Council Instructor (CEI) and was honored with the “EC-Council Instructor Best Newcomer Award” at the EC-Council Global Awards 2021. His professional credentials further include Google Associate Cloud Engineer, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals, Oracle Autonomous Database Cloud 2019 Certified Specialist, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, and Certified Blockchain Associate (Kerala Blockchain Academy).

Dr. Prajapati demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous professional development, having completed more than 150 online courses on platforms such as Coursera, Cybrary, and Udemy, primarily in cybersecurity and cloud computing. He regularly participates in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Short-Term Training Programs (STTPs), conferences, workshops, and industry training programs. He has served as a Resource Person for 17+ FDPs, STTPs, workshops, and seminars, many of which were sponsored by the Gujarat Council on Science and Technology (GUJCOST), the University Grants Commission (UGC) – Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), and the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) Programme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with Rashtriya Raksha University, Central University of Gujarat, Charotar University of Science & Technology, Gujarat Technological University, and other reputed private institutions.
