Dr. Hengky, associate professor in management at Prasetiya Mandiri Maritime Institute,  has held professional positions in Malaysia and Indonesia and has industry experience in Dubai, Jeddah, Singapore, and the UK. He has produced over 60 journal and book chapters and has an active research agenda in sustainable tourism and coastal tourism, supported by a number of external funding. He has produced several book chapters published by Springer Books, with the main topic of intelligent information technology supporting tourism. In addition, journal publications in Tourism Planning & Development, Routledge Tailor & Francis UK, Urban Forestry & Urban Greening, and Elsevier Germany. Furthermore, he has several experiences of more than two decades in industry and professional fields (marketing, business information technology, and consulting). He continues to contribute to academic, research, and industry partnerships, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in education and sustainable business development.
