Dr Jayendra Kumar has completed his M. Pharm., Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and has a vast 18 years of teaching and research experience. He has served as Principal in 03 colleges running B.Pharm & M.Pharm courses. He has supervised 15 M. Pharm. students for their dissertation and has more than 24 papers published in high impact factor journals. He has conducted significant research in the field of pharmacy, focusing on the isolation and characterization of bioactive compounds. His work has led to the discovery of multiple active compounds from natural sources. He is having good experience of Organic Synthesis of molecules targeting Cancer & Diabetes.
Dr. Jayendra Kumar holds significant editorial positions in various scientific journals, contributing to the peer-review process and enhancing the quality of published research. He has 06 Indian Patents and 08 international patents to his credit. He has published 02 books & has written many Book chapters for Elsevier publications. He has received prestigious Shastri-Indo Canadian Grant & many consultancy projects. He has chaired scientific sessions at many National & international level conferences.
Dr. Jayendra Kumar has been recognized for his research excellence and contributions to the field of pharmacy through various awards. He has contributed significantly to academic administration and accreditation processes. Presently he is working in the capacity of Professor & Principal at SRM Modinagar College of Pharmacy, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Ghaziabad (NAAC A++ Grade Institution). He is the member of IQAC and Criteria Head for Criteria no. 7 at SRM Institute of Science & Technology.
