Graduated and Post graduated in General Surgery from Motilal Medical College, Allahabad, UP, India in 1981.
Subsequently did a certificate course in Renal Transplantation from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh India upto December 1983.
Was a Pool Officer in Department of General Surgery at MLN Medical College Allahabad ,UP, India for next 6 months.
Subsequently joined Department of Surgery, at MLB Medical College Jhansi, UP, India in July 1984, and am still attached as a Professor and Ex-Head.
Apart from academics which includes teaching and guiding both undergrads and postgrads in their research work, the clinical work includes performing all general and laparoscopic and other specialized surgeries.
Special interest in routine and specialized Laparoscopic surgery, with emphasis on Laparoscopic Ventral Hernia and Groin Hernia repair .
