About
I was Born at Gandachara (Dhalai, Tripura, India) on 4th January, 1978. Educated at Kabiguru Rabindranath Smriti Vidyabhaban, Gandachara, (Tripura), 1986-1995 (Matriculation); Umakanta Academy, Agartala (Tripura), 1995-1997 (Higher Secondary); College of Fisheries, Mangalore, UAS (Bangalore), 1997-2001 (B.F.Sc.); Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), Mumbai, 2001-2003 (M.F.Sc.); CIFE, Mumbai, 2003-2008 (PhD).
I Joined as an Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Scientist (Aquaculture), Indian Council of Agricultural Research on 26th February, 2008, and presently working in the Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute (CIFRI), Regional Centre, Guwahati, Assam. Before joining ICAR, I worked as a Scientific Officer at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India for one and half years.
