About
Vinoadh Kumar Krishnan did his graduate degree in Mechatronics Engineering from SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India (2003-2007). Subsequently he worked in allied areas of Supply Chain Management for a period of 3 years, in leading OEM companies like Tractors and Farm Equipments Ltd. and Sanmar Engineering Corporation (2007-2010). With a valid GATE score he completed his Masters degree in Engineering majoring in Manufacturing Systems Engineering & Management (2010-2012). His Masters thesis work was done in Welding Research Institute, BHEL Trichy (2011-2012). It was during this period he was associated with a leading Metallurgist and research co-supervisor Dr. S. Manimozhi. It was the bright minds in WRI who motivated Vinoadh to pursue a PhD in Material Science. His passion and hard work fetched him a seat in NIT Trichy for PhD IN Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (2012-2017). His research interests are powder processing, materials characterization, mechanical behavior of materials. He has published 8 papers in the international journals of repute, which includes Philosophical Magazine, Philosophical Magazine Letters, International Journal of Refractory Metals and Hard Materials, etc., Following his PhD he did his post doc at IISc Bangalore under the guidance of Prof. Dipankar Banerjee and Prof. Satyam Suwas. He worked in the field of Fatigue/Dwell Fatigue behavior of near alpha titanium alloys. He has extnsive experience and knowledge in the field EBSD, FIB, etc.,
