About
Dr. Mahadi received his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), Bangladesh. He is now serving as a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at RUET. Moreover, he has received his PhD from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Mahadi's research integrates aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, and computational modeling, concentrating on revealing novel insights into fluid dynamics in both natural and engineered systems. By combining theoretical principles, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and biomimetic design, Dr. Mahadi aims to develop novel and efficient solutions in areas such as wind turbine aerodynamics, aerospace applications, and underwater vehicle design. Dr. Mahadi draws inspiration from nature's proven designs to create new technologies that are both sustainable and high-performance. By combining thorough analysis, creative problem-solving, and optimization, Dr. Mahadi explores unconventional, evidence-based solutions. Committed to multidisciplinary teamwork, Dr. Mahadi combines concepts from fluid mechanics, mechanical engineering, marine science, and renewable energy to drive next-generation innovations for modern environmental and industrial challenges. In the process of doing so, Dr. Mahadi has authored four popular books from Springer Nature and Elsevier publications, twenty-one book chapters, forty-seven refereed journal publications, and twenty-three international conference publications. Most of his journal articles are published in highly ranked journals. Dr. Mahadi regularly reviews for several high-ranking journals from prominent publishers, including Elsevier, Springer, Nature, and Taylor & Francis.
