Dr. Dipankar Dey is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Central University of Andhra Pradesh, Anantapuramu. He has done his Ph.D. at the Department of International Relations, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, India. He has completed Master of Arts in Politics and International Relations from Pondicherry Central University, Puducherry, India in 2019. He has also completed P.G. Diploma in Teaching Skills from Pondicherry Central University in 2017-2018 along with P.G. Diploma in Criminology and Forensic Science from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India in 2018-2019. He was also worked as an intern in the Kerala Institute of Local Administration (KILA), Trissur, Kerala. He was qualified UGC NET in the subject of Political Science in December 2018. He has presented various academic research paper in the national and international seminars, workshops and conferences. And he has published major research paper on the issues of maritime security and geopolitical strategic, and contemporary political debates in national and international journals. He was got National Youth Parliament Award by Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India in 2015. He has recently published book chapter title 'Andaman & Nicobar Islands: India’s New Maritime Frontier in the Indo-Pacific' in Singh, S., Marwah, R. (eds) India and ASEAN in the Indo Pacific published by Palgrave Macmillan, Singapore. He has interested on the subject area of Defence and Maritime Studies, Indo-Pacific Studies, Theory of International Relations, Contemporary Politics, Western Political Philosophy and Social Science Research Methodology.
