I am currently working as a neurosurgery resident in the National Institute of Mental health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, India, an apex institute in a country full of opportunities. In the current times when being a good surgeon or clinician is not enough to achieve academic heights, one has to be an avid researcher also.
The main area of research during residency- Biomarkers in TBI.
Interests- vascular neurosurgery, skull base neurosurgery, pediatric neurosurgery, traumatic brain injury, research in various aspects of neurosurgery.
An advocate of a healthy, educating, and nurturing environment during residency and beyond.
