About
I am currently serving as the Professor in the Engineering School of Presidency University and Director of External Affairs & Outreach. Previously, I worked as Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology at Atish Dipankar University of Science & Technology. I also worked as the Director and Professor in Uttara University.
I served Canadian University of Bangladesh in leadership positions; i.e. Dean of Engineering School, Director of Research Center, Director of IQAC and Chairman of EEE Department.
Currently I hold Fellowship (Research) in Unnayan Shamannay under distinguished Professor Dr. Atiur Rahman, the former Governor of Bangladesh Bank.
I graduated from Unersity of Nottingham in 2011 with First Class and received Dean’s Scholarship for PhD. Later, I obtained my PhD degree in 2016 from the same University.
My research interest is versatile and includes but not limited to smart city planning, IoT & Big Data, Sensors, AI in Education, Harvesting Technology, renewable energy, machines & drives, optics and advanced modulation.
I am involved in international research and collaboration being the Editor In Chief, JVE (Europe), Guest Editor of Inderscience (UK) and Editor in Frontiers in Energy Research (Switzerland). I am published with more than 50 peer reviewed international journals, conference papers, book chapters, gave Key-Notes, Organised & Chaired many international conference, summit & carnivals.
