About
Dr Mrityunjoy Mahato did his Master of Science in Physics from Burdwan University in
2006. He qualified NET-CSIR and GATE exam and
joined IACS, Kolkata for Ph.D. work under the supervision of Professor G. B. Talapatra. He
worked on the study of protein conformation, protein based bionanocomposite preparation
and their spectroscopic and microscopic investigation. After completing Ph.D. he started
working at North Eastern Hill University as an Assistant Professor for teaching B.Tech.
Engineering Physics and research. He is interested in interdisciplinary research field such
as Sustainable Materials, Waste to Wealth, Material Science and Bio-Nanotechnology. He
has published research articles in various international journals like J. Phys Chem B, Colloid and Surface B: Biointerfaces, Material Chemistry and Physics, RSC Advances, Phys Chem Chem Phys, Carbon Letters, Fullerine nanotube and Carbon Nanostructures, International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Nanotechnology for Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Microdevices, etc.
