Dr. Koushik Ghosh, Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department, Jadavpur University, India, is engaged in teaching and research in the broad area of Thermal Science and Engineering. The research area of Dr. Ghosh involves multiphase flow modelling, boiling and condensation, thermodynamic optimization, thermal design, porous media modelling and computational heat transfer. His teaching experience is related to Engineering Thermodynamics, Two-phase flow, Boiling and condensation, Heat and mass transfer, Design of thermal system, Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics and Steam Power Plant. He has published over 60 research papers in different international journals. In addition, there are number of book chapters and international and national conference papers. Apart from his teaching and research, he is also engaged in review exercises. He has been in the reviewer panel of about twenty five international journals. Dr. Ghosh did his Ph.D in Jadavpur University, India. He did his post-doctoral research in IRSN, France for one year in the area of modelling of premixing and film boiling. Prior to his faculty position, Dr.Ghosh worked in in Reactor Safety Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Trombay , India.
