About

Prof. Dr. Bimal Chandra Das received the Bachelor of Science with Honours and Masters of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, in 2000 and 2001, respectively. He completed a Post-doctoral fellowship program from Japan and He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering from The University of Electro-Communications, Japan in 2018.  He is aProfessor at Daffodil International University (DIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He joined at Daffodil International University in 2008 as a Lecturer. He also worked about 3 years at different universities before joining DIU. He worked as a research associate at The University of Electro-Communications, Japan from April 2015 to March 2018. He received the Japan Government (MONBUKAGAKUSHO: MEXT) Scholarship-2014 for Ph.D. degree. He presented many research papers in Japan, Canada, United States, etc. during his Ph.D. research. His research interest includes Computer Network, Network Congestion, Power Efficient Network, Continuous Optimization and Conic Programming and its applications.
