About
I am currently pursuing Ph.D. in the Department of Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur. Our research focuses on the theoretical modelling of earthquake fault dynamics in viscoelastic media using fractional derivatives. We primarily works on analyzing the behavior of different fault types including strike-slip and dip-slip faults within a viscoelastic half-space, aiming to understand stress accumulation, displacement, and strain distribution during seismic and aseismic events. Our work contributes to advancing the theoretical foundations of seismology and geophysics through mathematical modelling and analysis.
